I’ve had an events submission page for awhile on this site, but there were glitches that made it difficult for users to submit events. Well, they are now cleared up, and whether you’re a registered user, or not, you can submit events with images anytime you like!
To make things easier, I’ve created a short tutorial that shows you how to create and publish events, both as registered/nonregistered users. The advantage of being registered, is you can edit or delete your events.
As well, once I get to know you, or know you already, I will assign you authorship so you can also write and publish posts. If you’re a milonga organizer and have visiting teachers/performers, you can write a blog post about them, their background, history in dancing tango, etc. Or maybe you want to discuss the history of tango in Los Angeles? As long as the posts are about tango (music, the dance, the people ect., the communities, the milongas), and they are not libelous or slanderous — or mean — they can be published. When new posts are published they go out in a newsletter once per week to subscribers.
If you’re a blog subscriber, and not a teacher or organizer, you are still welcome to publish on this site. Just send me a note at laura@coffeeandtango.com, and I’ll make you a contributor.
You can register here, and submit events at this link.
