As December quickly approaching please get ready to dance your feet off at the next Milonga Gavito, on Friday, December 7th, 2018. We are excited to continue offering our Tango Community this unique opportunity to dance Traditional and Alternative Tango under one roof (2 Rooms and 2 DJs). We are also super excited and feel so fortunate to have master teachers and a wonderful people, Helena Fernandez Villagra and Claudio Villagra “Los Villagras” as our guest performers. Let’s come together, embrace each other and fill the room with joy and kindness (especially now … our world needs it even more!).

*The venue is located in Tarzana at Dennis Cante Tango Academy just a couple of blocks from the 101 freeway exit at Reseda Blvd in the Valley with FREE PARKING LOT LOCATED IN BOTH SIDES OF TO THE STUDIO. (PLEASE READ THE SIGN FOR PARKING FOR MILONGA GAVITO)

*The studio is equipped with 1,400 Sq FT comfortable dance floor to keep your feet happy and “WELL AIR CONDITIONED TO KEEP YOU COOL”. We will make sure that our elegant setup will be comfortable and cabeceo – friendly. We also will provide a spread of delicious appetizers and drinks (the venue allows wine so please feel free to bring your own).

Alternative Tango Back Room will have open seating.
Some basic dance codes on the traditional dance floor:
1-No aerial lifts or large stage movements.
2-Make sure to Cabeceo.
3-Respect navigation, lanes, and the line of dance. Leaders make sure you make contact with other leaders when you enter the dance floor.
4-Dress elegantly.
5-No teaching on the dance floor or off the floor.
6-No talking while dancing.
7- Apologize if you bump or hit your neighbor by accident while dancing.
8 – Please come with good personal hygiene.
9- Dance like no one is watching!
