MILONGA DEL CENTRO IS BACK! Saturday, April 23rd. Special guest performers and teachers CRISTIAN CORREA & LEAH BARKSY, who electrified the audience at the So. Cal. Tango Championship. Fabulous music by DJ VILLANO! Come to “El Centro” for an epic night of dancing on Southern California’s best dance floor. Pre-milonga class with Cristian & Leah 8 – 9 pm; Milonga 9 pm – 2 am. Milonga $15 ($10 for full-time students with student ID). Class is an addiitional $10.
We are located at 1144 S. Hope Street, between 11th and 12th, two blocks east of Staples Center, in the beautiful neighborhood of South Park! $4 parking at the Joe’s Parking structure at 746 S. Hope St. (a quick four-block walk to the studio), or take the FREE Downtown Concierge Shuttle from the parking structure to the studio. The shuttle will pick up at 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the hour from 7:45 pm until 2:15 am.
OR ride the METRO–we are only 1-1/4 blocks from the Pico Station (Flower St. just south of 12th), serviced by the Blue Line and the Expo Line. If you come in on another line, just change to the Blue Line at 7th St. Metro Center.
