Learn more about MILONGA CARMÍN
Carmin is a very rich word that means intense, passionate, lux·u·ri·ous, sensual, fiery, very RED color. This color is extracted from the cochineal insect from South and Central America (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cochineal.) It has been used for dying fabrics at least since the 15th century by Aztec and Mayan people, and at the times of TANGO, the powder was used as make up for sexy lips or to flush innocent cheeks.
Every time I heard the word CARMIN, the visual intense red reminds me of our first milonga at Soho, and that incredible picture that Matt took (this event picture). It is a very feminine, very powerful, very enticing, very tied to the earth and nature concept.
Embrace it and love it, our Milonga Carmín, red, intense, luxurious, sensual, fiery…
